The story of Ocean Springs Tech, began in 1996. The company owner, Armando Rodriguez, gained his experience and knowledge of pool and spa maintenance as an employee at a Coachella Valley Resort. He grew knowledgeable and gained experience working with residential clients through the entrepreneurship of his colleagues. This experience fueled Armando’s entrepreneur spirit and grew his passion to not only start his own pool service company but to lead a company with a strong foundation in customer service and customer support.
Today, Ocean Springs Tech., Inc is a well-established business. Armando’s faith and dedication built a solid foundation and through hardwork, networking and continuing education, Ocean Springs Tech quickly became a trusted company in the Palms Springs and its surroundings. This successful track record has now brought us to the Mexican market, supporting our team in Cancun.
In 2019, Armando was invited to expand his operation and bring his company’s expertise to Mexico. This transition starts in Cancun as Maria Becerra saw a need to have an established company offer professional and innovative services in the pool maintenance and construction areas. Ocean Springs Tech’s international goal is to establish itself as the pool company of choice in Cancun and later expand to other strategic areas in Mexico.

Mayra has been with Ocean Springs for over 15 years and her responsibilities include all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting and budget preparation, as well as helping develop internal control policies and procedures. Accounting Clerk/ Warranties Certified Pool and Spa Operator (CPO)
Deborah is an accounting professional with over 10 years of experience. She works closely with our repair team so that she may get invoices out correctly and in a timely manner. Deborah also manages warranty calls.
As an administrative assistant Ricardo is responsible for maintaining the day to day functions of the office by managing and distributing information within the office.
As accounts receivable Johanna is responsible for sending monthly service and preventative maintenance invoices, processing transaction, collections and generating reports for internal use.
Retail and Tech II Supervisor Operadora de Piscinas y Spas Certificada (CPO)
In her role as retail Supervisor, Raquel ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and ensures personnel completes daily service up to standard. Raquel also works closely with vendors to provide the best prices to Commercial and Residential properties.
Construction billing assistant
Elizabeth’s responsibilities include all aspects of construction, scheduling proposal and city inspection appointments. Generating proposals and invoices and updating files and expense reports for internal use.
Human Resource Assistant
Joanna’s responsibilities are verifying the documentation of the staffing, maintaining the records of employees, recruiting and explaining company policies.
Maria Becerra brings 20 years of Human Resources and Organizational Development expertise to Ocean Springs Tech. Maria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State Polytechnic, Pomona and graduate studies in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from California State Polytechnic, San Bernardino. As Human Resources professional, she has gained valuable experience working for Fortune 50 and Fortune 500 companies in various industries throughout the USA. She spent 5 years with Ocean Springs Tech, Inc. USA assisting in restructuring the organization and addressing all Human Resources strategy. Daniela Gonzalez is an architect and designer with over 20 years of experience. In addition to Cancun,she has worked in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, where she successfully operated a small construction company with her husband. She is now joining Ocean Springs Tech in Cancun, Mexico to bring her expertise as an entrepreneur. Mario Soto is an architect in Cancun with over 20 years of experience including operating a small and successful architectural firm. He holds an architecture degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and has extensive experience in both residential and commercial construction. Through his own architectural firm, he worked in San Miguel de Allende remodeling colonial homes to bring them to their original beauty and has completed projects for important clients such as Xcaret Park in Cancun.
